Mini sessions are held only on specific dates at predetermined locations. The session lasts for 30 minutes and comes with over 15 fully edited digital images. We do offer styling assistance with minis and you are welcome to seek our advice.
If you are interested in just a few images, or a quick little update instead of a full experience, this may be just what you are looking for!
Full session lasts 40-45 minutes and will come with over 25 professionally edited images with download rights. It includes upto 2 outfit changes and styling assistance, if needed.
We discuss with you and choose a location together within the Pittsburgh City limits, to ensure the perfect spot to capture you and your family.
Additionally, we offer unique customized editing to the pictures, allowing you to select the look and feel ranging from dark/moody to peachy/romantics and so forth.
In-home sessions is all about capturing the essence of your family in the space that is the backdrop of your life....YOUR HOME. It can be done in your Front Porch, Backyard or inside your house. In-home session lasts for 60 minutes. We do LIFESTYLE NEWBORN as an in-home session.
What does LIFESTYLE mean? Authentic, natural, a little more true to life. It's all about capturing the art of the everyday in someone’s life, trying to keep it visually appealing at the same time.
We are NOT a photographer who is going to overly pose your newborn or pose you with him/her. We will swaddle them and photograph them in the nursery or maybe on your bed. We WILL shoot to document all of those tiny details. You hold them, look at them, kiss them, love them and we photograph your new family as you are, where you are most comfortable – at home.

We take a limited number of clients each year and try to only work with people who connect with my work, vision, and can trust the process and let go. We like to keep things fun, light hearted, and honest, which never fails to result in genuine images that represent who you are. The most important thing is that we're creating authentic images that are real, vulnerable, and encompass all the wonderful quirks that make you, YOU. Occasionally, I'll give direction and do a bit of finessing to otherwise candid moments, but the end result will always feel natural. It's not about you doing things my way, I like to get to know you as a person and adapt how I shoot to what you respond well to and what you're comfortable with. Everyone is different and deserves to have their own unique experience.
We could put ourselves in a box and throw out some trendy industry words like 'classic' 'photojournalistic' or 'artistic'...but who knows what those truly mean. Words we hear from clients are fun, colorful, and natural. We'll tell you what, take a look at our work and you tell us!
Typically about 2-3 weeks turnaround time for regular sessions depending on the time of year . Trust us, we are JUST as excited to see your final images as you are!
More than you're expecting and more than you'll know what to do with we promise! We generally deliver around 25+ images for an hour-long session.
You do you and let me worry about the rest. You are awesome just the way you are...I know I know...but really! We want you to look like you! We will of course get the random blemish and edit a garbage can out of the frame, but leave the extensive photoshopping to the Vogue Magazine covers, you're better than that!
Definitely! Once we get you booked you can contact us on how to prepare for your session. Information includes what to expect, advice on what to wear, shoot locations, and some other useful tips and advice.
Since we are shooting for more natural images, there is less pressure to shoot in the first 7-10 days post delivery. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to give families the time that they need to be ready for in-home sessions. Every delivery is different and sometimes newborns and mamas need a few extra days to settle into home and bounce back from it all. So we aim to schedule in the first 7-14 days but to tell you guys that one month is just as good. So… go with your gut and choose a date that works for everyone! WHAT IF I GO PAST MY DUE DATE… OR BEFORE? When we book a newborn session, we use your due date as a temporary placeholder on my calendar. We take a great deal of pride in truly being there, and being flexible for the families who choose us from all.
Generally we’re shooting newborn sessions on weekends mornings/afternoons (our weekend availability gets snagged up pretty fast by families, especially in the Fall months!) If you MUST shoot on a weekend though, I make it work! There’s a good chance that you will still be figuring your newborn by the time we arrive. We tell clients to speak up if they are noticing that baby is ferocious in the mornings for example or extra adorable and snuggly in the late afternoon! Light will also play a role in our start time, whenever possible. If there is ZERO natural light coming into a room that you know you want to shoot in during the morning hours, we will most likely move the session to accommodate! Baby is going to run the show. And we’re 100% okay with that.
RAW images are not a true representation of our work and have not seen the copious amounts of tender loving care we put into every image to make them awesome. So the answer is no. Trust me, you want the finished, edited result, that's half of why you hired us in the first place!
